New Module Unraveled: Product Case Tracker for Ubercart
Building a new product involves lots of stages. Starting with a product idea, design to development, the team moves through several stages to generate all the details and information required to roll out the product. But an in-depth scrutiny on each stage is critical to mitigate uncertainties and risks. If you are engaged in Drupal and Ubercart powered product development, our newly contributed module named with ‘Product Case Tracker for Ubercart’ can help you create a case tracker that maintains a history of various stages of product development.
This module also enables you to create a graphical representation for comparison of current status with dates as promised by the e-Commerce store/artisan. You can easily track various stages of product development throughout, from the customer to an e-Commerce store (in case of a commissioned product). Also, provide a timeline, that is, a graphical representation of a comparison of current status of the product with the pre-decided dates as promised by the e-Commerce store or by the artisan to the customer.
Benefits
- Ease for a customer to keep informed about the current track of the product – shipping status or manufacturing status
- Advantage for a customer to compare the efficiency of an e-commerce store or an artisan by looking at the graphical chart of the current status of product development with that of completion dates as promised by the store.

New Module Unraveled: Views Custom Conditions

It generates a dynamic SQL query according to views construction for displaying data. So, to filter your data as per your requirement, this module will really be helpful.

New Module Contributed: Node Revision Restrict
Dear Drupal lovers,
PDF using mPDF Drupal Module
We have introduced a new module developed by our Drupal team which makes it easy to convert HTML files to PDF documents. This module was basically developed for one of our clients from travel vertical. The objective of this module was to meet our client’s requirement of generating travel packages quickly with interactiveness. Earlier the client was using mailing system for sending travel packages to its customers; and this process was time consuming, and lacks its visual appeal.
This custom module converts HTML pages to PDF documents using mPDF PHP Library. It allows you to generate a PDF document of any node and works very well on a Linux/PHP/Drupal environment.
Features:
- PDF creation (www.example.com/node/nid/pdf) where nid is the node id of content to render.
- PDF generation API is provided, the content developers can use this API to generate a PDF document.
- By creating your own CSS file and/or the node.tpl.php template files, it is possible to change the look of the output page to suit your taste. For a more fine-grained customization, it is possible to use a template file named:
Drupal 7: node--[node-type|node-id].tpl.php located in your theme directory. Where node-type & node-id are Drupal's node type (e.g. page, story, etc.) and node-id (eg: 12) respectively.
API Function: pdf_using_mpdf_api()
This API function is available to content developers who prefer to generate a pdf file of custom path. The function takes two parameters, first a rendered html content and an optional second parameter, name of the pdf file. E.g: pdf_using_mpdf_api($html) where $html is any html content.
Requirements
You must install the following third-party tools to generate PDF documents:

Our Blanket Drive Warms Hundreds
Winter is at its peak, and to help needy people stay warm and cozy during this season, OSSCube placed a call to its team members and donated nearly 500 blankets to homeless elderly, adults and children who were either living under bridges, or on side-road, in freezing temperature with scanty clothing. So, nothing could have been more benevolent and useful; for these people but blankets to save themselves from bitterly cold nights and wintry days. The temperature was 5 degree Celsius at night in the Delhi-NCR region, so one can imagine how helpful this contribution was for these people.
In continuation to this drive, we were deeply moved with a child’s words. “Thank you for the blankets you have given to me and my father”, his words instilled a great sense of satisfaction and pride; as this donation drive really helped homeless people who are forced to stay outside.
In closing, we would like to thank everyone who donated and contributed for this social cause! In our coming blogs, we will be updating more on our plans and contributions we will make towards social responsibilities as a part of our CSR activities.

Distributed Winter Clothes to Give a Warm Respite to Homeless People
Winter often brings to mind images of blanket across lap, and book in hand. For many of us, however, winter is an endless stream of difficulties where everyday is a fight to stay warm and healthy. To help alleviate the stress that this season can bring, OSSCube and its team members actively participated and donated their sweaters, cardigans, coats, and jeans for the homeless people.
Moreover, in a bid to make somebody’s winter a little easier, our team members jumped in to ensure that all clothes were given away immediately to people who needed them the most. Yes, the need for winter clothes was clearly visible in the faces of adults, elderly and children. And, we were pleased to see their smiling faces.
Words cannot express how touching it was for us to see people staying outside in these blistery cold conditions. So, there could not be a better way to help these poor souls. Thanks all especially “Dil se” team members for their camaraderie and allowing us to exercise this wonderful CSR activities. We look forward to facilitating and putting a smile on poor faces with our upcoming CSR initiatives.
